Funding for alonovo.com

I've been working on a private placement for us since the middle of last year. Since we revenue share with non-profits, traditional venture capitalists won't touch us (and strategically -that is just as well -so we can preserve the integrity of our vision and mission).

We are close now, with a strong commitment from one individual, an almost committment from another, and our valuation is being reviewed by a prominent Social Responsibility-oriented asset manager.

David Foster Wallace wrote a book titled "A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Try Again". I suspect it was a book about acquiring investment capital!
